The Bite Size Future kit

BITE SIZE FUTURE
In general, we don’t like to talk about death. End-of-life conversations usually make us feel uncomfortable and vulnerable when we have to confront them in difficult moments in life.
As a continuation of our Hospitable Hospice project, we developed an end-of-life conversation kit that rewrites the tone-of-voice of such conversations by breaking them down into bite-size questions that fit the rhythm of an afternoon tea & cookies.
The kit is used after a new resident enters a nursing home - for new residents and their family to have an opportunity to talk about the future, in a safe setting and facilitated by one of the Home's Care professionals.
