Traditionally, Hospitals were designed to offer us the basics to survive, to be cost-effective and to achieve the best clinical outcomes for the largest number of people, leaving patient needs and experience as a lesser priority.

 

Since 2017, we agreed a Strategic Partnership with Hospital Clínic Barcelona to develop, promote and implement the Patient Experience Strategy as part of their current Strategic Plan. Since then we’ve been collaborating in diverse projects including the new Living Lab where Citizens and Healthcare professionals can meet for co-creation, the redesign of the patient experience within the Hospital´s Pain Unit -putting the Pain Conversation at the core of the new service- and the CALMA project that aims to transform the daily management of Dyspnea for respiratory patients.
