End-of-life Care is delivered today in institutions that are usually opaque and invisible to the eyes of citizens, until it’s time to face death.

 

In close collaboration with project partners Assisi Hospice, Dover Park Hospice and St Joseph’s Home we deep-dived to understand the hospice sector in Singapore conducting ethnographic observations, co-design workshops and in-depth interviews with patients, families, care teams and experts. Together we created a new Hospitable Hospice concept that is open to society, it offers critical new thinking and a refreshing vision with which to re-imagine end-of-life Care.

 

As a result, several new hospices and palliative care teams are now making this vision a reality.
