We see Care as an equitable, proactive and compassionate experience that must be accessible for all. An essential quality of our everyday life, from birth to death.
Our purpose is to transform our Systems of Care such as education, social care or healthcare to enable them to deliver the kind of Care we would naturally give to those we love.
We have identified 7 key interventions that we believe can redesign the experience of Care on multiple levels.
Together they define an action landscape to guide our projects; but also form a common ground upon which to meet fellow Care Activists and collaborate.
As Care Activists we have our own agenda, but experience tells us that we can’t do this alone.
We firmly believe that working in Partnership with shared values around a common mission, exchanging knowledge, combining capabilities and connecting networks, we can achieve greater impact.

I WANT TO FOLLOW THE DEBATE AND SPREAD THE WORD.
We are an international network of designers-turned-activists working to transform our world of Care, locally and globally.
What brings us together is a belief that Design can play a vital role to reimagine Care, with its empathy skills, optimistic mindset and solution-oriented approach.
The Care Lab was co-founded by Lekshmy Parameswaran and Laszlo Herczeg.
